A cleveland.com oldalnak adott friss interjújában Alice Cooper úgy fogalmazott, hogy már 99 százalékosan elkészült az új stúdióalbumával. A lemez producere ezúttal is Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, KISS, Deep Purple stb.), a munkacíme Detrot Stories, és a hírek szerint Coop mester számos detroiti zenész barátja is szerepel majd a dalokban.
Alice Cooper: „99 %-osan kész az új lemez, már csak az utolsó simítások zajlanak rajta. Nagyon elégedett vagyok ezzel a lemezzel. Jelenleg Bob Ezrin otthon hallgatja a felvételeket és közben azon agyal, hogy vajon itt vagy ott nem kéne-e újra felvenni a basszust, azt a harmadik verzét csak ki kéne próbálni, vagy azon, hogy azt a három sort nem lenne-e jobb újra felénekelni… (nevet) Szeretném, ha egy adott ponton lezárná az egészet és kimondaná, hogy ‘Kész!’, de bízom benne és tudom, hogy ezt akkor fogja majd mondani, amikor tényleg úgy is van.”
Májusban egy Don’t Give Up című, videoklippel kísért új dallal jelentkezett a sokk-rock mestere, Alice Cooper. A karanténvideóban nem csupán Alice és zenésztársai szerepelnek, hanem egy pár héttel korábbi felhívás nyomán rengeteg rajongó is.
„Ez a dal arról szól, amin most mindannyian keresztülmegyünk. És a kitartásról, az összefogásról, a közös harcról. Ez a videó nem születhetett volna meg nélkületek… és ki tudja, talán még szerepelsz is benne! Bármit is teszel… Ne add fel!”
